DNA synthesis with ATTO dyes?

Does anybody know if there's a DNA synthesis company that will make oligos modified with ATTO dyes? I've looked at IDT, Midland, and Sigma-Aldrich. I want to do a quick-and-dirty experiment which will be easier if I can just buy a pre-modified oligo, and if it works, I can then maybe buy amine-modified oligos and label my own.

Hi Matt,

How about Eurogentec?

Hey Matt,

have a look at IBA GmbH in Germany, www.iba-go.com.

Take care,

Hi,

Eurogentec does it.

Hi Matt,

I have a stupid question, is there any significant difference in labeling efficiency between bought and self-prepared oligos?

With thanks

@Tomi: Depends on how good you are! You can get pretty close to 100% labeling with self-labeled oligos, but it generally requires purifying the labeled from the unlabeled oligos via HPLC or PAGE. Oligos from a synthesis company can get very near 100% labeling, but the exact amount depends on how they put the label on (e.g., incorporation of a labeled nucleotide, 5' or 3' labeling during synthesis, or post-synthesis labeling.) So, it's a grab bag.
